Spent Christmas in a hotel with nice architecture and a spacious room, that was fully equipped! There was a polite receptionist who spoke many languages and offered us free tea. the hotel was located near important facilities: supermarkets, restaurants and tourist areas. It was easy to get around with no need for taxis!
Temperature in the reception was cold and heating was minimal. Doors were constantly open.

I booked Mây Hô Hotel on the same day I needed a room, as I was taking a sleeper bus from Ha Giang following 4 days on the loop. They immediately confirmed my late check-in request and the smooth process had me in my room within minutes. The shower was fantastic, the amenities were great, and overall, I am very satisfied!
I do recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located in a very convenient area, just a few minutes away from the city center and near restaurants and supermarkets. The rooms are spacious, clean, and fully equipped, with comfortable beds and big bathrooms. The staff was very polite, helpful, and spoke different languages. They even offered us free tea and refunded our final night when we had to leave one day earlier due to a bus issue.
The only negative aspect of our stay was the cold temperature in the reception area, as the main doors were constantly open and there was minimal heating. However, this didn't bother us too much since we didn't spend much time there.

For the price we paid, May Ho Hotel Sapa was great value. The room was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect, close to Sapa Lake and within walking distance of the bus station, cafes, restaurants, and a supermarket. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and even gave us a little gift when we checked out.
The breakfast offerings could be improved with more variety.
